Meet the farmers and learn a bit about truffles before we get started. . Warm up by the fire and enjoy the views.
The Hunt with Dante
Follow Dante through the groves. Witness the remarkable bond between handler and dog as he pinpoints the distinct scent of ripe truffles.
Discovery & Harvest
You can choose to get your hands dirty and get involved in unearthing the truffles. Or relax and let us do the work.
Tasting
Conclude with a tasting of a truffle unearthed during your tour as well as other products featuring truffle. Please note that this doesn't constitute a meal, it is a sample.
Plan Your Experience
Season: June - August
Hunts run during the winter months when truffles reach peak ripeness. Bespoke tours for groups can be arranged. To book your experience or for any enquiries, please use the form or reach out via email at hello@baarmuthatruffles.com.
Tours involve walking on uneven and sloping ground, which may be damp and muddy. Visitors are asked to dip their shoes in a quarantine wash before entering the truffiere to protect farm biosecurity. Shoe covers are provided as an alternative. Guests have the option to kneel down, dig and smell truffles. Winter is cold in Beechworth, please dress appropriately.
